Feeling hopeless? Having difficulty navigating normal daily life? Are you at a loss after leaving your faith?
I want to help you.
Hi, I’m Rebecca N. Ward, MSW
If you are struggling with the feelings of hopelessness and loss after leaving your faith of origin, estrangement from your family of origin, or having difficulty navigating normal daily life after experiencing trauma, I want to help. I am absolutely passionate about helping those recovering from religious trauma, as well as those in the LGBTQIA+ community who are dealing with loss or estrangement after coming out or trying to navigate coming out to family members that are not accepting. I have experience with deconstructing physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, trauma from cults, high control religion, abusive relationships and more.
If depression and anxiety have taken over after a major life change, or you simply need help navigating a big life change or loss, I would love to help. You are not alone.
“In conservative Christianity, you are told you are unacceptable. You are judged with regard to your relationship to God. Thus you can only be loved positionally, not essentially.”
